Senior Snow Windrow Removal Application

A windrow is the snow left at the end of a driveway after a snowplow has cleared a road. This program will clear the windrow from the end of the driveway after every snow plowing operation from November until the end of March. Windrow snow clearing will be completed after active snow plowing operations are finished. Residents in the program should allow up to 24 hours after the end of a snow storm for windrows to be cleared. Clearing to bare pavement cannot be guaranteed.

Fee: $40.00 (plus HST)

Please note that your application is not considered "received" until such time that a Customer Service Representative has contacted you after submitting your payment online.

Applicant Eligibility

In order to qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Resident of the Municipality of Leamington living in the Urban Area
• 65 years of age or over, and there is no other person residing in the home who is under 65 years of age
• Physically disabled and have filed a Certificatre of Disability signed by the doctor and further, no other person residing in the home is under 65 years of age.

Residents who live on private road, high-rise, multi-unit building condominium or within a commercial property are not eligible to apply.

• I am physically disabled and have filed a Certificate of Disability signed by my doctor and no one in my home is under 65 years of age.

I understand that this service is provided only after all main roads, fire routes, alleyways, municipal parking lots, sidewalks, etc. have been cleared of snow.
