The Municipality of Leamington has established a cat trap program in which residents in urban Leamington can rent a cat trap from the Municipality to capture feral cats on private property.
Upon this completed form being submitted and $80.00 deposit being paid, a Customer Service Representative will be in contact with you to schedule a trap drop-off.
Deposit: A $80.00 deposit is required before a trap will be provided to you. Please note that every calendar day the trap is in your possession, $15.00 will be deducted from the initial deposit paid. The remaining deposit amount will be returned to you upon the return of the cat trap in the same condition as when the trap was provided to you.
Payment: Online payment is currently not available. Once you have submitted this form, you can either mail your deposit to Municipality of Leamington, 111 Erie Street North, Leamington, ON N8H 2Z9, or drop it off in a sealed envelope at the drop box located at the entrance of the Leamington Municipal Building off Queens Avenue. If submitting the online form, you must clearly mark the envelope containing payment with your first and last name, address and phone number so that our Customer Service Department can match the request to your payment. Cheques, money orders and bank drafts can be made payable to "Municipality of Leamington". Please note that your request is not considered "received" until such time that a payment has been received.
