Apply for a Civil Wedding Ceremony

Civil Wedding Ceremony Fees:

• During office hours $245.00 + 13% H.S.T. = $276.85
• During office hours (other than English) $290.00 + 13% H.S.T. = $327.70
• After office hours and/or offsite $325.00 + 13% H.S.T. = $367.25
• After office hours (Non-English) $370.00 + 13% H.S.T. = $418.10
• Mileage beyond Leamington’s border $0.72 per km + 13% H.S.T. will be charged
• Cancellation fees may apply

Photography is permitted in the Leamington Municipal Building under the following conditions:

• Civil Wedding Ceremonies are subject to availability and approval Monday through Sunday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Please note that the selected time should not exceed 5:00 PM as the booking is for two (2) consecutive hours and ceremonies are only available until 7:00 PM.
• If approval is granted, applicants will receive notification and the ceremony will be booked upon receipt of payment. Payment can be made by debit or cheque.
• The Municipality reserves the right to cancel marriage ceremony bookings at the Municipal Office if they are perceived to be in conflict with an organized municipal event, providing that reasonable notice can be given to the parties involved. In such cases, if no satisfactory alternative time or date can be arranged, fees will be returned.
• The applicant is responsible for the conduct and supervision of all persons in his/her party.
• The applicant is responsible for any and all damages caused by members of his/her party to any plant material, building, structure, equipment or other property of the Municipality of Leamington. 

Cancellation Fees:

• During office hours: $30.00 of ceremony fee non-refundable
• After hours ceremony: $60.00 of ceremony fee non-refundable
• After hours ceremony: (without 24 hours notice) $160.00 of ceremony fee non-refundable
