Municipal Consent Permit Application

 Please read the below information before proceeding.

Fees: In accordance with By-Law 78-23 applicants shall pay a non-refundable fee of $450.00 for each Municipal Consent Permit application, and individual applications shouldn’t consider works on more than a single Municipal Right of Way and should be limited to lengths of 3.7 km in a rural area or 1 km in an urban area. Moreover, additional fees may be applicable for applications requiring significant review and inspection services, which will be charged to the applicant on an hourly basis for staff time required.

Payment: Online payment is now available. Please note a convenience fee will be added to the total on your invoice. Once you have submitted your form, you can process your payment immediately.

Note: Utilities applying for a Municipal Consent permit may require a Municipal Access Agreement before the permit can be approved, applicants are encouraged to contact the Municipality to inquire about the requirement for an agreement if there is any concern.

Applicants should be aware that if any works are proposed in Provincial or County right of ways they must obtain the necessary permits from those authorities.
