Application for Photo Session

Photography is permitted in the Leamington Municipal Building under the following conditions:

  • Written request for photo sessions must be received within 30 days but no more than 90 days in advance of the actual date of the photo shoot.
  • Where possible, permission will be given to written requests for a single, specific two-hour period on a specific date.
  • Permission will be given for after-hours, weekends and statutory holidays on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Two-hour sessions are subject to availability and approval Monday through Friday 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • If approval is granted, applicants will receive notification and a permit will be issued upon receipt of payment.
  • The Municipality reserves the right to cancel photo session bookings if they are perceived to be in conflict with an organized municipal event, providing that reasonable notice can be given to the parties involved. In such cases, if no satisfactory alternative time or date can be arranged, rental fees will be returned.
  • The applicant is responsible for the conduct and supervision of all persons in his/her party.
  • The applicant is responsible for any and all damages caused by members of his/her party to any plant material, building, structure, equipment or other property of the Municipality of Leamington. Please refer to the Venue Rental Terms & Conditions for more information.

Venue Rental Fee:

  • A venue rental fee of $226.00 (includes HST) will be charged for each session. Payment can be made by debit, certified cheque, draft or money order.
  • A cancellation fee of Fifty per cent (50%) of the Venue Rental invoice will be retained in the case of an event cancellation after the event has been confirmed. The Venue Rental cancellation fee could be applied to a future rental provided it takes place within 6 months of the original booking.
  • Please note: Notification of a cancellation must be received by the Clerk’s Department within five business days prior to the event to receive 50% of the venue rental fee.

Venue Rental Request:

If requested date is available, applicant will be contacted for payment which must be made within five business days of approval to secure the date.
