Building Services - Building Securities Form

Every person who applies for a building permit where there is a Subdivision Agreement shall submit the Building Securities Form for each individual dwelling. The deposit is to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Subdivision Agreement. The Security Form will need to be completed and uploaded to Cloudpermit to complete your building permit application.

Fee: $1000.00 Security Deposit will be added to your building permit fee. The deposit may be returned to the applicant after completion of all work and the work is inspected by and to the satisfaction of the Municipality in accordance to the Subdivision Agreement.

Construction Information

In accordance to the Subdivision Agreement where the address of construction is situated, securities are required to ensure compliance with the approved specification of the following:

• Final Grade
• Driveways
• Rear Yard Drainage

When the obligations set out in the Subdivision Agreement are completed in compliance with the Plans and Specifications, any specific permit conditions and the provisions of any applicable Municipal By-law, the security will be returned, without interest, by the Municipality to the person who deposited it with the Municipality.

Acknowledgement

I understand that as the applicant, the owner and/or contractor must schedule inspections with the Municipality of Leamington. I further understand that a permit must be issued before any Construction and/or Work can be completed. Failure to comply with the works in accordance with the Subdivision Agreement may result in the loss of the Security Deposit ($1000.00). The information contained on this form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
